NASA Perseverance Rover Mars 360° Virtual Reality (VR) Panorama February 2021

This panorama was taken by the Mastcam Z of the Perseverance Rover on Mars on February 20, 2021. The stitched TIFF image distributed by NASA was turned into a full 360°/180° panorama by extending the sky in Photoshop. So the view of the sky is not a realistic representation of the sky as it would appear on Mars, but the Virtual Reality experience is enhanced. The finished panorama is a multi-resolution panorama with a size of 36952x18476 pixels, created with krpano. No color or exposure correction was performed, so the exposure gap is still there.
